Ever since I was a kid growing up in Texas, I dreamed of being in Texas Monthly Magazine—and it finally happened! 🥹
Two of my Jaclynn Renée Wines - our Syrah from Newsom Vineyard and Mourvèdre from Desert Willow Vineyard, were named among the Top 12 Best Wines in Texas, with our Rosé of Grenache - also from Desert Willow Vineyard- receiving an honorable mention in the 2025 Vintners Cup. 🍷💛
Even more special—the first red I ever made in Texas at Driftwood Estate Winery made the Top 12 too! 💛
After 18 years of winemaking—13 in Sonoma County and 5 back home in Texas—I’m so proud to represent our growing Texas wine industry and the incredible growers who help make it possible.

Last week, I took the kids on a special road trip out to West Texas to check on our vineyards—and it turned into something magical. 💛
We visited our amazing growers at Newsom Vineyards, who surprised us with a beautiful sunflower field—Maddy’s favorite. 🌻 and got to meet the amazing crew and family at Desert Willow Vineyard and see the great job they are doing with Organic farming. 🍇
We walked the vines, checked on the grapes, and I got to show the kids Texas Tech for the first time. Driving those red-dirt roads with @wadebowen playing brought back so many memories.
West Texas holds such a special place in my heart, and sharing it with our kiddos this time around was truly unforgettable. ♥️🌵🍇
In 2013, we were incredibly blessed — we started Jaclynn Renée Wines and found out we were expecting our daughter, all in the same year. 🍇👧🏼💫
And TODAY she’s 11!!! 🌻 She’s grown up in the vineyard, chasing butterflies between the vines, helping bottle wines, and learning what it means to dream big and work hard—with love, laughter, muddy boots (and pretty dresses) along the way.
Our brand has always been rooted in family, built with intention, and nurtured with heart. We’re so lucky and so grateful—to be raising our kiddos with these values, and to have your support along the way.

The Texans 10-U All-Star Navy took home the Championship with a 13-0 record this season. They played true Texan Baseball and gave it their all. It was amazing to see these boys support each other and work hard as a team and grow so much over a month period. Proud is an understatement- and Wimberley brought the crowd and support. We are so thankful! And thanks to our AMAZING coaches and our All ⭐️ Star family. What an amazing group! Our May Book Club party was a blast! We really loved reading “The Wedding People” by @alison.espach and having a fabulous reason to get dressed up in our Wedding season’s best!
